Day trip to Iguazu Falls
One of the most amazing sights in Latin America is Iguazu Falls. Conveniently enough, this is a short trip from Buenos Aires and even a day trip if you are really short on time.
You can usually get a cheap flight on LAN Argentina. If you want to spend the night, the Sheraton Internacional Iguazu Resort is one of the only choices, but a good one.

HIi:
A good trip to Iguazu needs at least 3 days, to visit both arg. and brasilian side.
Sheraton is veeery expensive because it's located just in front of the falls. But it's not the only. There are many hotels in the city, just few miles from the falls, and in the other(brasilian) side. there are local buses all dat from/to the National Parks where the falls are.
And if you need accommodation in Buenos aires, a good guesthouse is: www.lodging4all.com.ar
The landlord is very helpful.
This waterfall has become N:1 place to visit after reading your article and the one located at Wayfaring travel guide. I really hope to go there soon and see one of the most spectacular sights in the world.
