Montevideo is a great city to explore and not expensive at all.

Montevideo is known for being somewhat sleepy and out of the way but it was once quite a bustling metropolis.

There’s a lot of beautiful architecture reminiscent of Buenos Aires and of course Paris. The Palacio Salvo is a prime example of this.
